Tire King of Durham takes great pleasure in providing this letter of reference for AdForce, Inc. Tire King is a Triangle-wide, nine-store chain offering a range of tire brands and aftermarket automotive repair and maintenance.

Prior to retaining AdForce in 2003, Tire King had not worked with an ad agency. We'd drop the periodic coupon and occasionally, we'd use a newspaper ad provided by one of our vendors, but found that while these made them look great, they were too generic and didn't create a brand for Tire King. Since we didn't have the time or expertise to evaluate other media like TV or radio, we simply didn't use them.

AdForce changed that. They developed a marketing plan and strategy, and designed a broadcast campaign that, for the first time, created a brand-focus for Tire King. And it's worked. Our name awareness has improved dramatically, our "Get home safe with Tire King" tagline has helped us own the "safety" position, and our retail sales have increased.

They are a local agency that understands this market, and more importantly, they understand Tire King, our business and corporate culture.
